Although all of the rubber stamp designing is done myself, I rely very much on other people's creations using my products. I couldn't possibly make all of the examples displaying how my stamps can be used. Plus, how boring would that be if everything was done in my style?! I would much rather see my stamps used by a variety of creators and mediums. Each bring a unique perspective and technique. My Design Team is comprised of individuals who are dedicated to their craft and who have committed to designing with my stamps on a regular basis. Their work is showcased in the product galleries within my shop.
I live with my great husband and 2 spoiled cats in a peaceful Hamlet in Ontario, Canada. After making the big decision to leave the stress & long hours of a sales position in the automotive industry, I started my passion with card making. I've always enjoyed creative activities, especially perennial gardening, but didn't always have the time for them. During a 2006 vacation in the Netherlands, my creative Aunt Saakje taught me her secrets of card-making and I haven't looked back since ! I've been blessed to have the opportunity to teach classes & design for a wonderful shop, Crop Circles & also for Designs by Ryn. Have a great day !
I retired from a career in Retail Pharmacy in 2008. I was the manager of a large store with lots of pressure! Crafting was my 'Stress-buster' now I am free to enjoy it for much of my time.
Hello, my name is Miranda and as long I can remember I've been a creative soul. In fact anything that can make the world a little more beautiful and peaceful. In these hard times we can sure use that... a teacher told me once: do the things that makes your heart sing and I believe everyone around you will be influenced by that! "Be the change you want to see in the world" Ghandi
I live with my husband and two children in the pretty harbour town of Whitstable, in Kent, UK. I’m a busy working Mum and I love to ‘escape’ to my little study to get messy with inks, paints and rubber stamps! I have been making cards for over 16 years, but finding Ryn’s beautiful stamps has inspired me to try different techniques with watercolours and inks that I haven’t tried before – great fun!
I am Karin, I live with my partner Roelof and my 15 year old daughter Amber in the middle of the Netherlands. A few years ago I started with stamping and I know now for sure, this addiction will never stop! I love being creative with stamps, paper, inks and paints. I get inspired by the things around me.That can be a beautiful flower, a color, a photo, a funny quote or the beautiful things I see in blog land. I feel very honored because Ryn asked me to join her team as a designteam member, to create beautiful things with her gorgeous stamps.
Hello, my name is Anja. I was born into an artist family already with a colorful brush behind the ear. My parents, grandfather, uncle, aunt and cousins are all studied painters. They make a living as art teachers or as freelance designers. Growing up in this environment I have painted as long I can remember. In 1996, I saw a stamping workshop and it had happened - I decided that I wanted to stamp too! I learned more and more, and soon some stamp producers asked me to design for them. During that time I designed more than 1200 motifs for different stamp companies. Now I lead a stamping forum in Germany. I'm glad to have found Ryn's beautiful stamps because they are so inspiring and I'm happy to be added as a member of the wonderful Design Team.
I am almost 61 years, a woman, happily married for 41 years, a mother, grandmother of 3, and staff of 2 cats...and stampaddict! My stamping life started in 2009, very carefull, with little material and just a few stamps. But since then stamping became a real passion! I'm not a real technique stamper, I "just go with the flow"...Sometimes an idea comes into my head...and it always becomes different than I had thought. But most of the times I sit down, look around and get inspired by a colour or a stamp. And just start a creation, wondering when it's finished that it looks how it looks...I mostly love to make cards or other creations, without pressure, but with loads of feelings.
And of course I like to visit blogs and Pinterest and enjoy the work of so many awesome stamping ladies (sorry guys...I rarely see you :-)). This year I won the Dutch poster contest from the Art Specially Event...to my surprise. That was a touching moment...that the judges had chosen my stamped card as the best of all the entries. But in the last years I also was asked 3 times to be guestdesigner at De Stempelwinkel and at Our Creative Corner. At this moment I'm a member of the Stampinback.nl designteam.
I am really honoured that Ryn asked me to be a member of her Design Team and have had lots of fun, creating with her gorgeous stamps, "Designs by Ryn". All the stamps are so detailed and unique... And I hope, you can enjoy my makes! Ryn, many thanks for this great opportunity...it's my pleasure to play with your lovely stamps! And of course I will use them over and over again!! Kindest regards, Alie :-)
When I am not working or spending quality time with my 3 boys, ages 23, 11 and 9, you will likely find me in my studio working on my next crafting project, jewelry design or mixed media art journal page. I am the owner of InsideOut Field Services, a professional lender services business. I have over 25 years in the lender services and collections business and starting my own successful servicing business over 9 years ago was a dream come true. It's not all rainbows and butterflies of course but that is where my artistic passion comes in to play to level things out. I also own a small online store called Intoxication by Kellie that I am excited about taking to the next level in the coming months. My amazing husband, who is my soul mate and best friend, keeps me grounded and after all these years of working together and raising our family together, we still LIKE each other. Loving someone is easy. LIKING someone is another story entirely. All my boys are champions and they make me whole.
I've been sharing tutorials and fun creations on YouTube for about 4 years now. I also organized a Google+ community called The ICWIC Crew where we share mixed media projects to inspire each other. The crafting community that I have been fortunate enough to be part of never ceases to amaze me with their kindness and support. I've made some amazing friendships on YouTube that I am very grateful for. I was absolutely honored to be invited to be a Design Team Member for Ryn Tanaka with Designs by Ryn.com. I have been admiring her stamps for quite some time and I'm proud to demonstrate how I use her high quality products for you.
A great big THANK YOU to everyone who has shared their creations with me!
